Studying at Glyndŵr University

    • Students are housed in the Plas Coch campus during their stay in Wrexham.
    • 211 en-suite rooms situated on the main Plas Coch Campus adjacent to the Edward Llwyd Centre (library, information and student services)
    • Rooms are in flats of 6 with a shared kitchen/ dining area.  There are five rooms adapted for less-able bodied students.
    • Network connection points are available in all rooms.
    • Glyndŵr University Student Union operates a laundry on site and there are supermarkets within walking distance.
    • Car parking is available on campus.
    • The Library Service at Glyndŵr University offers books, journals, video, multimedia and electronic resources in a wide range of subjects and is open from 8.45 a.m. to 9.00 p.m. Monday to Thursday, with a 5.00 p.m. closure on Fridays and Saturdays.
    • The University has excellent sports facilities, including the North Wales Regional Hockey stadium, a water-based international FIH accredited facility with seating for 200 spectators and floodlighting, a sand dressed artificial turf pitch, providing an excellent all year round weather surface, primarily for football.   The 1000 sq.m. hall at the heart of the campus complies with national competition standards for badminton, netball, basketball, volleyball and indoor hockey.  On the first floor of the sports centre is a purpose built sprung floor dance studio and a fitness suite.
